Welcome to COME FOR SUPPER

Some people say that the dinner party is dead. They are wrong.

A dinner party might not require white gloves or silver platters (although more on that later) but having people come for supper is one of the most enjoyable things you can do. It is satisfying, thrilling, inspiring, (even life-affirming at times), and it is fun!

I have spent the last 10 years cooking food, writing about food and talking about food. One of the things I get asked most is what to cook when people come for supper.

Come For Supper is just that. What to cook when you have people coming for supper, how to host whilst having the most fun, plus occasional nosy visits into other people’s kitchens to learn what they like to cook when people come for supper.

I am not saying that you HAVE to invite people for supper if you cook these recipes. I make a lot of them just for my husband and I, but my hope is that they encourage you to do so.

As well as a three dinner party recipes each month, I’ll be sharing video tutorials and tips and tricks that cover everything from making the table look brilliant on a budget to sourcing cutlery.

You’ll also receive an exclusive kitchen interview with some of my favourite chefs, authors and writers about what they like to cook when people come for supper.
